Convenient Reading and Managing of Laws

Lawdroid allows for the convenient reading and managing of all German federal laws, Bavarian state laws, European primary law, as well as European secondary law.

Federal Law Germany

Lawdroid offers access to over 6000 federal laws and regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany.

• The Civil Code (BGB), the Criminal Code (StGB), the Road Traffic Act (StVO), ZPO, StPO, EStG, HGB, and more.

Bavarian State Law

Concerning Bavarian state law, Lawdroid provides access to approximately 800 state laws and regulations, including POG, PAG, DSG, VwVfG, JG, and others.

European Primary Law

Important European treaties (Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Treaty on European Union, Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, and Treaty Establishing the European Atomic Energy Community) are also accessible within the app.

European Secondary Law

Lawdroid offers access to over 15,000 directives and regulations of the European Union.

• Including Brussels I-IIa, Dublin II, Dublin III, GDPR (DSGVO), Habitats Directive (FFH-RL), Rome I-IV, Birds Directive (Vogelschutz-RL), among others.

The desired texts must be downloaded within the app.

Norm and Law Links

By utilizing norm and law links within the texts (Federal Law Germany and Bavarian State Law), users can navigate quickly between norms and laws. Linking is available from Android 8 onwards.

Tab System

You can open multiple laws simultaneously side by side and switch between them quickly using tabs.

Full-Text Search

The full-text search within downloaded laws enables quick and convenient access to the required laws/norms. This feature is available offline.

Favorites

Mark your preferred laws/norms as favorites to access them quickly.

Collections

Organize your laws/norms into custom collections for swift access.

Predefined Categories

The most important laws are categorized for quick reference.

Shortcuts on Home Screen

You can directly link laws/norms on your device's home screen for immediate access. Home screen shortcuts are available from Android 8 onwards.

Offline Accessible

Laws once downloaded are available offline on your device for access anywhere.

Automatic Updates

Keep your laws/norms up to date with the optional automatic update feature.

Night Mode

Tailor the user interface to your preferences with Night Mode or Dark Mode. The app supports automatic switching between light and dark modes from Android 10 onwards.

• Backups - Prevent data loss by utilizing the built-in backup function to secure downloaded texts, favorites, and collections on your device or cloud services such as Google Drive.
